Camp Mending Hearts
July 21-25 | 8:45 am-Noon | Grades K-6

Camp Mending Hearts gives young children the experience of healing together with other children who have also experienced the death of a person in their life and are trying to process their feelings of grief. Join us for a week of play, laughter, and healing.

Sunday is orientation for 1 hour in the afternoon, campers will meet the facilitators, get their t-shirt, and a quick tour of the classes; this helps them get ready for the camp. The actual camp is Monday-Thursday.

Parents drop the kids off between 8:30-8:45 am, after an opening session at 8:45 am the kids are divided into three groups by grades; each group rotates to: games, crafts, healing circle/activity. At 12:00 the parents come back and we have a meal with parents, kids, and facilitators. We are working on a Bombers game for Monday night. Everything is free.
