We are so excited! DIG fun is happening throughout the week now. See below for details on Sunday Mornings (Nursery and Sunday School) plus Wednesday Night Kids. We will still continue putting Sunday School videos online for as long as we need to for families that are not comfortable coming back in person. This website will keep updating regularly, so bookmark it and come back whenever you have questions. We are in this together! God is bigger than anything and we are committed to partnering with you on the faith formation of your kids.

Armored Sports Camp (previously Triumph Sports Camp) is back and registration is now open! Armored Sports is an afternoon Christian camp throughout the week of VBS. Sign you kids up for VBS in the morning and Sports Camp in the afternoon for a full day of fun, Monday through Friday! Children will be escorted from VBS to Armored Sports Camp where staff will have lunch with them. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch each day.

Camp Narnia is for children who have completed Kindergarten-6th Grade as of May 2021. This year the children will learn and perform the world premiere of Anchored in Faith, The Story of Noah, by David and Addie Henry.

Covid-19 policies and procedures
The Re-Entry Task Force, Children's Re-Entry Advisory Team, and Children's Ministry Staff worked hard and developed procedures that will implement sanitization and social distancing practices to keep your families and volunteers healthy. Things will look different now, just as with everything else in our world. We want to provide you as parents with all the information you need. With your help implementing these practices, we can ensure a fun, loving environment for your kids to learn about God's love and grow in their faith! Please read the following documents for details on the new procedures that will be followed. We will continue to modify the procedures as needed to reflect the current State Child Care Guidelines.

Online SUNDAY SCHOOL
If you prefer to continue Sunday School at home, we will still be bringing you videos every week! Click below and you will be redirected to our YouTube channel. Take about 30 minutes sometime this week and spend time with God and let Him fill up your heart! Every week we will be updating our content to include a new lesson. It will be in our emails and on our kid's Facebook page.
Sunday School 6/13
This week we are looking at Joshua 5:13–6:20. We can’t always see how things will work out in God’s plan. When the Israelites looked at the city of Jericho, all they could see was a wall. A big one. They had to trust that God would do what He said He would do. It was the only way they could win and live in the land God had promised for them.
Bottom Line: God’s plan is the best plan.

Sunday School 6/6
This week we are looking at John 3:1-21. Whatever you might be going through, or whatever might happen in the future, remember how much God loves you. Remember that Jesus died for you. Your relationship with Him is what gives you true confidence!
Bottom Line: You can be confident because God loves you.

RIGHT NOW MEDIA
If your kids are anything like mine, they are going to want screen time. Right Now Media is a GREAT Christian option. And if you have not already signed up, you get a free account through Christ UMC! It has great cartoons and live-action shows for kids of all ages plus short Bible Story and Devotional videos as well. And there is wonderful teen and adult content too.

Our Vision and Mission
DIG Children's Ministry focuses on laying a Biblical foundation, planting seeds of faith, and digging deep into God's word. We believe that faith formation happens both in the church and in the home, and want to come alongside parents to equip and empower them to be leaders in their child's spiritual journey!
Our ministry exists to bring children into age-appropriate WORSHIP/SUNDAY SCHOOL where they will KNOW they belong to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ and then go SHARE Christ in the world!
DIG Kids is led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children! Our goal is to provide a FUN and interactive program tailored just for kids no matter what age and grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults!

DIG Kids operates with four age-specific groupings. Each group has events throughout the year designed just for their group!

DIG Sunday School uses Gospel Project Curriculum and explores scripture and stories from the Old and New Testament. The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God's story of redemption.
9:30 am | Children's Worship and Sunday School - DIG kids worship is a special 20-minute worship designed for children. Children experience many elements of worship including reciting of the Apostles' Creed and Lord's Prayer, collection of offering, fun praise and worship, a bible story video, games, and a mini-sermon or object lesson. 5th-6th graders are given leadership opportunities as they lead many aspects of the worship service. At the conclusion of the big group worship service, children break into grade-specific Sunday school classes. *During COVID, we will be rotating classes through worship in Big House, sitting socially distant and sanitizing between groups.
9:30 Drop-off and Pick-Up: Children's building circle drive (look for the green DIG Kids flags). Drop-off begins at 9:15.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT KIDS

Wednesday nights are FUN for DIG Kids and their families! Bring to their own fun programming while there are many Adult Discipleship studies for you to join.
Childcare for Adult Bible Studies and Kids Bible Studies WILL be happening, just with our new screening, social distancing, and sanitization protocols in place. We have some fun things planned for the kids! Register today.
