We are so excited! DIG Kids nursery and Sunday School is starting to phase back on campus again. See below for details on when and how. We will still continue putting Sunday School videos online for as long as we need to for families that are not comfortable coming back in person. This website will keep updating regularly, so bookmark it and come back whenever you have questions. We are in this together! God is bigger than anything and we are committed to partnering with you on the faith formation of your kids.
We will be posting regularly on our Facebook Page. Updates, activities and resources for home. Join our page so that we can stay in touch. You can talk to other families too and share resources! HOw sweet it is! - Nursery and Sunday School in person
Nursery and Sunday School are coming back together on campus again!
The decision was made to continue phasing children's activities back in with nursery first and then K-6th Sunday School. We are so excited to see your kids we can hardly stand it!
We are asking that families RSVP to reserve a spot for Nursery and Sunday School each Sunday you are going to attend. Yes, we understand this is a big change and hopefully we will not have to do this very long. However, maximum capacities have been determined for all classrooms and large spaces in accordance with state child care guidelines. Numbers will be limited for this reason and dependent on the number of nursery workers and volunteers available. Extra spots will be reserved for visitors or walk-ups, but we ask for everyone to RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you for your help!

The Re Entry Task Force, Children's Re-Entry Advisory Team and Children's Ministry Staff has been hard at work developing procedures that will implement sanitization and social distancing practices to keep your families and volunteers healthy. Things will look differently now, just as with everything else in our world. We want to provide you as parents with all the information you need. With your help implementing these practices we can ensure a fun, loving environment for your kids to learn about God's love and grow in their faith! Please read the following documents for details on the new procedures that will be followed. We will continue to modify the procedures as needed to reflect the current State Child Care Guidelines.

Online SUNDAY SCHOOL
If you perfer to continue Sunday School at home, we will still be bringing you videos every week! Click below and you will be redirected to our YouTube channel. Take about 30 minutes sometime this week and spend time with God and let Him fill up your heart! Every week we will be updating our content to include a new lesson. It will be in our emails and on our kids facebook page. You can do Sunday School in your pajamas - YES!!! You don't even have to worry about sleeping in, this video will be up all week!
Sunday School 8/9
- Bible Story: Gideon and his soldiers
- Big Picture Question: What can we learn about God's power? God's power makes us strong.
- Key Passage: Isaiah 41:10
1. Gideon was full of “I can’ts”. What’s something you said “I can’t…” about recently? Rephrase it as an “I can” statement.
2. Why do you think Gideon felt like he wouldn’t be good enough to fight the battle God had called him to fight?
3. How many soldiers did Gideon start off with? How many soldiers did God actually let Gideon use?
4.Was Paul an “I can” or an “I can’t” type of person? What are you?
5. What are some things we can focus on when we feel like we aren’t strong enough?
At Home Activity:
Do a workout! Try some of these:
10 toe touches for a warm-up stretch.
10 jumping jacks.
“High knees” (running in place but lifting your knees really high) for around 30 seconds.
After you work out talk about how exercising builds physical strength. Discuss what can help us build strength on the inside like Gideon had.

1. What happened when most of the spies only focused on the bad, scary things they saw?
2. How many of the spies were confident that God would allow them to take the land?

4. What can remind you about how big God is the next time you’re scared?
At Home Activity:
The Alphabet Game
Round up your family and see if you can win in this challenging alphabet game! Take turns naming something that starts with each letter of the alphabet. The new item named for each letter must be bigger than the previous thing, so it’s good to start small. The game will end when someone gets stumped at coming up with anything bigger. Ask your kids when it got hard to think of bigger items and talk about how they can be sure God’s power is bigger than anything they named. No matter what feels big to us, we can be sure that God’s power is bigger!
RIGHT NOW MEDIA
If your kids are anything like mine, they are going to want screen time. Right Now Media is a GREAT christian option. And if you have not already signed up, you get a free account through Christ UMC! It has great cartoons and live action shows for kids of all ages plus short Bible Story and Devotional videos as well. And there is wonderful teen and adult content too.

DIG Children's Ministry focuses on laying a Biblical foundation, planting seeds of faith, and digging deep into God's word. We believe that faith formation happens both in the church and in the home, and want to come alongside parents to equip and empower them to be leaders in their child's spiritual journey!
Our ministry exists to bring children into age appropriate WORSHIP/SUNDAY SCHOOL where they will KNOW they belong to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ and then go SHARE Christ in the world!
DIG Kids is led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children! Our goal is to provide a FUN and interactive program tailored just for kids no matter what age and grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other childrena nd adults!

DIG Sunday School uses Gospel Project Curriculum and explores scripture and stories from the Old and New Testament. The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God's story of redemption.
9:30 am | Children's Worship and Sunday School - DIG worship is a special 20 minute worship designed for children. Children experience many elements of worship including reciting of the Apostles' Creed and Lord's Prayer, collection of offering, fun praise and worship, and a bible story video, mini-sermon or object lesson. 5th-6th graders are given leadership opportunities as they lead many aspects of the worship service. At the conclusion of the big group worship service, children break into grade-specific sunday school classes.

Wednesday nights are FUN for Dig Kids and their families! Join us for dinner, then take the kids to their own fun programming while there are many Adult Discipleship studies.
K-6th: Kids' Unite enables kids to apply biblical truths as they experience God's Word through exciting games. Kids will spend time studying a bible passage line by line each week. Then they will play games to reinforce the lesson's learned from the passage. We end the night with questions for the kids, getting them to think about how to apply those lessons in their daily life. There are many opportunities to earn Bible Bucks through class participation and at home challenges.
*Nursery is available for kids birth through pre-K. Pre-schoolers will enjoy Bible stories, crafts, games and activities.
