Our Vision and Mission
DIG Children's Ministry focuses on laying a Biblical foundation, planting seeds of faith, and digging deep into God's word. We believe that faith formation happens both in the church and in the home, and want to come alongside parents to equip and empower them to be leaders in their child's spiritual journey!
Our ministry exists to bring children into age appropriate WORSHIP/SUNDAY SCHOOL where they will KNOW they belong to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ and then go SHARE Christ in the world!
DIG Kids is led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children! Our goal is to provide a FUN and interactive program tailored just for kids no matter what age and grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other childrena nd adults!
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God," Ephesians 3:16-19
DIG Kids operates with four age-specific groupings. Each group has events throughout the year designed just for their group!

DIG Sunday School uses Gospel Project Curriculum and explores scripture and stories from the Old and New Testament. The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God's story of redemption.
9:30 am | Children's Worship and Sunday School - DIG worship is a special 20 minute worship designed for children. Children experience many elements of worship including reciting of the Apostles' Creed and Lord's Prayer, collection of offering, fun praise and worship, and a bible story video, mini-sermon or object lesson. 5th-6th graders are given leadership opportunities as they lead many aspects of the worship service. At the conclusion of the big group worship service, children break into grade-specific sunday school classes.
11:00 am | Family Share Traditional Sunday School - Children will meet in Big House for announcements and review of the week's memory verse. They they will divide into age-appropriate classes. We have K-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade classes at 11:00. During this hour, we ask that parents serve at least 2 Sundays a semester as parent-teachers. The time that you will spend pouring God's truths into these children will make a huge difference in their lives and yours! You can check open Sundays and sign-up here

Wednesday nights are FUN for Dig Kids and their families! Join us for dinner, then take the kids to their own fun programming while there are many Adult Discipleship studies.
K-6th: GAMELIFE enables kids to apply biblical truths as they experience God's Word through exciting games. Kids will spend time studying a bible passage line by line each week. Then they will play games to reinforce the lesson's learned from the passage. We end the night with questions for the kids, getting them to think about how to apply those lessons in their daily life. There are many opportunities to earn Bible Bucks and GAMELIFE wristbands/dog tags through class participation and at home challenges.
Kids will be divided into grade specific teams for GAMELIFE. The Branch (5th-6th grade) will have their own team and rotations that will really challenge them and allow them to build strong Christian bonds with other tweens. Register here. It's never to late to join in the fun!
*Nursery is available for kids birth through pre-K. Pre-schoolers will enjoy bible stories, crafts, games and activities.
