Featured Series In this series of sermons “Ordinary People-Extraordinary Lives” we meet people in the bible who were considered weak by worldly standards but with God’s help did some pretty amazing things!
We offer three worship services on Sundays at Christ UMC: Sanctuary Services The 8:15 and 11:00 services are virtually identical. We call them “blended” services, which means you will experience a “blend” of traditional and contemporary worship styles. At 9:30 in the Sanctuary, we have a more informal service. It is not as music-intensive as the other services at CUMC, and the message takes the center stage of this service. The 8:15 and the 9:30 services average around 300 people in attendance, while the 11:00 sanctuary service averages around 550-600.Upcoming Events

Christ UMC held its first worship in its new sanctuary on Sunday, March 16th 11:00 a.m. Thank you for participating in part of an historic event as the people of Christ UMC embarked on a new era of mission and ministry. Before a single brick was laid, Christ UMC committed to expand its facilities in order to be able to Reach One More person for Jesus Christ.
We want to make your first visit to Christ UMC as meaningful as it can possibly be. We know that we are a large church, and sometimes large churches can seem imposing. But we hope that when you visit, you will find a place that you can call home. You will find first-class nurseries, Sunday school classes for all ages and needs, powerful music, challenging sermons and dynamic worship.

ifferent areas in which you can become involved. The Mission and Outreach team is one of the busiest areas in the church. Here at Christ UMC we believe in Acts 20:24 where it says: “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus, the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” Our goal is to join together with our gifts to bring the healing love of Christ to those in need. As you look through the pages of this site, you will see in each and every area many of the ways you can be a part of these mission efforts of our church that reach our neighbors down the street as well as other countries.
